Laurie Mitchell, Madison McDaniel of Wasabi Recognized as Two of CRN’s 2020 Women of the Channel (MESA)

Wasabi announced that CRN has named Laurie Mitchell, Sr. Director of Partner Marketing, and Madison McDaniel, Partner Marketing Coordinator, to its esteemed 2020 Women of the Channel list. Recognizing the unique strengths, vision, and achievements of a select group of women, this prestigious, annual list acknowledges channel leaders who are blazing a trail for future generations.

These women are from all areas of the IT ecosystem, including technology vendors, distributors, solution providers, and other IT organizations.

CRN editorial team selects the honorees to celebrate a list of exceptional women acclaimed for their contributions to channel advocacy, growth, thought leadership, and dedication to the IT channel.

Laurie Mitchell is the Senior Director of Partner Marketing at Wasabi. She is driving the growth of the Wasabi Partner Network, which launched in 2019, which includes marketing to, with and through partners including managed and cloud service providers, system integrators, and technology alliance partners who integrate or bundle Wasabi with their solutions. Mitchell has a proven track record with over 20 years of experience building and managing channel programs from the ground up for scale and growth at a number of startups and larger companies. Prior to Wasabi Mitchell was at PTC where she led the evolution of their Partner Network.

Madison McDaniel is the Partner Marketing Coordinator for Wasabi who implements the marketing programs alongside technology partners and resellers, and builds messaging strategies to recruit new partners. In addition, McDaniel is responsible for Wasabi’s in-person and virtual event strategies across vertical markets. McDaniel brings five years of marketing experience to her role at Wasabi, and prior to joining the team, McDaniel came from the New York City based marketing firm, MKG, where she was an event production assistant that specialized in brand experiences.
