Wasabi’s Chelsea Rodgers Honored on the 2021 CRN Rising Female Stars List

Wasabi Technologies announced that CRN has named Chelsea Rodgers, Senior Manager of Partner Marketing, to its 2021 list of Rising Female Stars. This list honors up-and-coming, talented women in the IT channel whose contributions are shaping the future of the IT channel through their leadership, tireless dedication and innovative ideas.

Selected by the CRN editorial team, the 2nd annual Rising Female Stars list is made up of exceptional channel leadership candidates. Honorees are selected for their unique experience, expertise, impact on their partners and dedication to the IT channel. These women are playing key roles in helping their organizations maintain and grow their channel partner programs across a multitude of disciplines, including marketing, program management and partner engagement.

Since joining Wasabi in 2017 as a founding team member, Chelsea has accelerated Wasabi’s go-to-market strategy with North American based MSPs, VARs and System Integrators by implementing specialized channel activation plans and activities to increase sales revenue. On a mission to help partners enhance their own marketing efforts, Chelsea delivers targeted ‘campaigns-in-a-box’, engaging field events, and educational resources to help guide partners in marketing their services effectively. With Wasabi, she previously served as Sales and Marketing Operations Manager and Growth Marketing Manager before her current role as Senior Manager of Partner Marketing. Earlier this year, Chelsea was also honored as one of CRN’s Women of the Channel for her impressive work.

“CRN’s 2021 Rising Female Stars list recognizes professionals displaying unwavering commitment toward channel growth and excellence. These future leaders are driving tomorrow’s innovations for today’s organizations,” said Blaine Reddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “On behalf of The Channel Company, we congratulate all the honorees. What these women are accomplishing today will define the IT channel for many years to come.”

“Since day one, Chelsea has established herself as an indispensable part of the Wasabi team,” said Laurie Mitchell, Vice President, Partner and International Marketing at Wasabi. “Our channel program continues to grow at an accelerating pace after tripling in 2020, and no doubt Chelsea’s innovative and collaborative approach to partner marketing and execution is a driver of that success for us. We are excited to watch her build on this in the years to come.”
