Whip Media dives into the latest with OTT, Technicolor Creative Studios looks at the possibilities of Unreal Engine, and EditShare looks ahead at 2024.

Here’s what the MESA community has planned the week of Jan. 29-Feb. 2, according to MESA’s global member e-calendar.

Tuesday:

• Technicolor Creative Studios hosts “Environments with Unreal Engine.” Learn how you can create a vast natural environment with Procedural Content Generation (PCG) tools in Unreal Engine. This opens up a realm of creative possibilities. Leveraging the power of PCG allows developers to generate expansive landscapes filled with dynamic elements like trees, foliage, rocks, and more.

PCG tools in Unreal Engine enable the automatic generation of terrains, vegetation, and other environmental features, reducing the need for manual placement and offering scalability.

At OTT Question Time Live 2024 talk to industry leaders about their streaming products, commercial and monetization strategies, technologies, innovations, and solutions (in-house and external).
