Initial Program Released for Nov. 12 SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit

The Initial program has been announced for the Women in Technology Hollywood Foundation’s (WiTH) annual SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit, being held on November 12 in Hollywood.

The annual event brings together top voices in entertainment technology to collaborate on navigating change in the industry and careers.

The theme — “Bold Moves: Navigating Change and Courage with Purpose” — promises a dynamic lineup of presentations and discussions.

And the event will feature the presentation of the Leadership Awards, which recognize outstanding leaders and advocates in the entertainment technology sector.

Here’s a look at the initial program for the event:

• Opening remarks will kick off at 9:45 a.m. with Christina Aguilera, president of the WiTH Foundation, and co-founder and managing partner of Synthis, and Nadya Ichinomiya, chair of the WiTH Foundation, and VP and head of agile transformation, enablement, and operations for Sony Pictures Entertainment.

• The opening keynote, “From Reflection to Action: Building Courageous Careers,” will be offered by Ellen Taaffe, author of “The Mirrored Door.”

• “Lasting Impact: Empowering the WiTH Community” will be moderated by April Schneider, WiTH Foundation board member and VP of IT, intellectual property management, and general counsel for Sony Pictures Entertainment.

• “Seizing the AI Moment” will be moderated by media and ad consultant Filiz Bahmanpour.

• “Bold Moves” will feature Erica Marie Dionne, SVP of release planning for NBC Universal.

• “Global Operations at Scale: Vision, Leadership, and Impact” will feature Michelle Huynh, EVP of studio content operations for FOX Entertainment.

• “Human First in the Age of AI” will be moderated by Beate Chelette, CEO and growth architect for Chelette Enterprises.

• “Strength at the Core: How Inner Clarity Shapes Outer Influence” moderated by Aguilera with panelists Mia Watkins, program manager for Riot Games, and Amber Mindenhall, VP of West sales for Fortinet.

• “Structured Networking Activity: What’s Your AI Personality.”

• “Personal Branding Beyond Image and Promotion” with Emily Wat, CMT consulting manager at Cognizant, and Jen White, chief brand strategist for Collective Memory.

• “Scaling Culture Across Global Teams” with Ichinomiya and Toshino Yuhaku, global M&E practice leader for AWS, and Avantika Ajit, global solutions architecture leader, AWS M&E, Gaming, Sports.

• “Sphere production of the Wizard of Oz & Path to Leadership” with Christine Carr, creative technologies and post-production consultant, and Katie Hinson, SVP of post-production for Sphere Entertainment.

• The closing keynote, “Bold Bridges: Leading the Next Generation in New Hollywood,” will be from Ada Tseng, author of “Breaking into the New Hollywood.”

• The Leadership Awards Program will close the day.
