Women in Technology Hollywood has announced that nominations are open for the 2025 Women in Technology: Hollywood (WiTH) Foundation Leadership Awards, which will be presented at the SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit Nov. 12, at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, Calif.
Now in its 8th year, the WiTH Leadership Awards continue to honor extraordinary individuals who are making bold moves, lifting others, and driving meaningful change in the tech, media, and entertainment industries.
Each year, these awards spotlight leaders and innovators who exemplify courage, creativity, and commitment to advancing women in technology. They are visionaries, mentors, disruptors, and changemakers—and their stories inspire us to reimagine what’s possible.
‘Bold Moves’
The theme of this year’s SoCal Women’s Leadership Summit is “Bold Moves,” and WiTH is looking for nominees who embody exactly that.
Whether they’re rising stars, seasoned mentors, or leaders transforming entire industries, WiTH wants to recognize the individuals who are not just participating in change but creating it.
WiTH Leadership Award Categories
The four categories for this year’s awards are deeply aligned with the values of the WiTH Foundation and the spirit of this year’s theme. They include:
• Catalyst for Change & Lifetime Achievement Award
This award honors individuals who have sparked deep, lasting change — whether through groundbreaking innovation, bold leadership decisions, or courageous advocacy. Nominees may be trailblazers who’ve transformed organizations, shifted cultural norms, or pushed the industry toward a more inclusive future. This category serves both as recognition of a singular, bold achievement and a celebration of a career spent making waves. It’s WiTH’s highest honor, reserved for those whose work has left a legacy.
• Mentor & Champion Award
This award celebrates individuals who lead by empowering others. These nominees have woven mentorship and inclusion into the fabric of their careers. Whether formally or informally, they have consistently supported emerging women leaders, advocated for diversity in the workplace, and championed access and belonging. Their success is magnified by the success of those they’ve helped rise alongside them.
• Emerging Leader Award
This award recognizes early-career professionals — those in the first decade of their journey — who are already creating meaningful impact. These nominees exhibit bold vision, exceptional leadership potential, and a clear commitment to innovation and inclusion. They are already shaping the future of our industry and giving us all a reason to be hopeful about what’s ahead.
• Community Impact Award
This award honors individuals who make a difference in their communities. Whether through nonprofit leadership, grassroots organizing, global advocacy, or local engagement, these nominees demonstrate that technology is not just a tool for profit—it’s a platform for good. Their efforts have created ripple effects of positive change far beyond their own organizations.
